Awareness. Breath. Ground. Movement.

My approach is deeply influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, whose understanding of gravity, the spine and effortless movement continues to inspire the way I practise and teach.

For me, yoga begins with awareness. The breath reveals the body, the body finds the ground and movement emerges in its own time. Within the Sikh tradition, the breath is honoured as Pavan Guru, the Breath is the Guru. This understanding lives at the heart of my practice, where breath, sound and movement are inseparable.

A Woven Practice

01

Awareness & Gravity

The body knows how to move. Vanda Scaravelli's teaching showed us how to listen, how gravity, the breath and the spine work together to create movement that is effortless rather than forced. We begin by noticing what is already there.

02

Pavan Guru, Breath as Teacher

The breath is honoured as Pavan Guru, the Breath is the Guru. Pranayama, breathwork and deep listening return us to this original teacher, already present inside us, waiting only for our attention.

03

Kīrtan, Mantra & Sound

My classes weave together yoga, breathwork, Kīrtan, mantra, mudrā and deep listening. Every practice is an invitation to become more present, more connected and more at home within yourself.

"The breath has always known the way. My work is simply to create the space to follow it."
