Seva & Compassion

Seeing Beyond
Sight

A project born from the Sikh practice of Seva, selfless service, dedicated to those living with visual impairment and blindness.

Every person deserves to be seen in full, not despite what they cannot see, but because of everything they know, feel, and carry. Little Blind People exists to make that belief tangible, through presence, through service, and through the radical act of simply showing up.

How It Began

Little Blind People grew from a moment of quiet noticing. During her years of community service, Sundeep observed how often people living with visual impairment or blindness were overlooked in spaces that claimed to be inclusive, not from ill intention, but from a failure of imagination.

Rooted in the Sikh teaching of Chardi Kala, the ever-rising spirit, and guided by the principle of Seva, this project channels practical action into a space where it is needed most: not charity as transaction, but service as encounter between equals.

The name "Little Blind People" holds the wholeness of the person first. Not defined by diagnosis, but by humanity. The work reflects that in everything it does.
